Otumba Park 32 North Joliet Avenue Sturgeon Bay A great (3) acre park is located on West Juniper and North Joliet Avenue on the West Side of Sturgeon Bay. A small boat launch is right next to the sand beach. This is a perfect spot to start exploring Sturgeon Bay. The sheltered lagoon is a great place for beginners or those needing to try out a new Kayak. Paddle north and follow the shore along State Parks, or paddle south and explore the port of Sturgeon Bay. During summer the bay itself can get pretty crowded. The park has all the standard municipal park features, restrooms, picnic areas, playgrounds etc. So it is a good spot to launch with the family.
From Highway 42/57 turn left on County Highway S, also known as North Duluth. Go North on Duluth to Maple Street and turn right. Drive to Lansing, hang a left, then follow Lansing about two blocks and the road around to the end. There is a larger parking area on the West End of the Park. While driving east on Maple turn left on N. Joliet. Go north a few blocks and you will see the park on the right side.
