Door County Fishing

Door County Fishing Hot Line (920) 743-7046

Door County Fishing has long been considered the “ultimate freshwater “ fishing experience” by pro and casual anglers. See why a Door Peninsula Fishing trip is right for you.

Pristine fresh waters surround the Door County Peninsula. No wonder the peninsula is one of the most popular fresh water fishing destinations in the country. In one day anglers can fish the scenic waters of Green Bay, Lake Michigan, Sturgeon Bay, and several small inland lakes.

Our trophy-class fish include small mouth bass, pike, salmon, perch, walleye, musky, and trout. Door County is home to one of the best bass fisheries in the world.

What's In Season ?

See our Door County Fishing Calendar to see what’s biting when. Of course Mother Nature follows her own schedule. To hear a daily update on what fish are biting and where, call the Door County Fishing Hotline (920) 743-7046.

Where to Gear Up

Tackle:

The easiest way to get outfitted for a Door County fishing trip is to use good charter service and let them worry about it. See above.

To outfit yourself go with a reliable company with a good selection of quality products that meets your specific needs. Bass-Pro Shops and Cabelas are great places to order everything you need. If you can’t find it there it probably isn’t made!
